We ensure a continuous connection to community.

We volunteer our time, knowledge and resources to local community and Indigenous initiatives.

It’s not all about the law – it’s also about contributing to our community in a meaningful way.

Proudly Supply Nation Certified, we are a 100% Indigenous owned and managed business that partners with community organisations and actively encourages our people to develop a passion for a charitable or community institution – and contribute wholeheartedly.

Support for our community

Creating Indigenous pathways

We’re committed to broadening and increasing Indigenous capacity across the private sector of the legal profession. We provide alternative career opportunities for Indigenous lawyers, law graduates and non-legal careers.

Supporting Indigenous business

We aim to refer mandates to other Indigenous owned and managed legal practices and businesses for practice areas or locations outside our own expertise.  Through our platform, we aim to advocate to increase the engagement of Indigenous law firms and businesses by corporations and government departments.

Engaging Indigenous suppliers

We utilise Indigenous suppliers for appropriate products or services provided directly to our own business.

If you are an Indigenous business or supplier who is interested in providing goods or services to us, or would like to explore an opportunity to collaborate, please contact us to explore how we can work together.

Community programs + initiatives

Our team manages and promotes social and community initiatives to raise awareness and funds for a range of charitable and community institutions – and we are keen to increase our community impact wherever possible. Reach out to our team below if you would like us to collaborate with you.

Our journey

We thank Gomeroi man, Kayleb Waters, whose painting (below) helps tell the story of Keighran Legal + Advisory.
Thanks also to Wiradjuri Yinaa and Graphic Designer, Leticia Quince, who has digitised the artwork for us.
This painting represents many aspects, both traditional and contemporary.  It holds deep connections between past and present.  The colours are earth based to pay respect to our Mother/lands.  The lines represent the pathways in our life’s journey and the impacts on this from decisions we make and those made for us.
All the dots symbolise everyone from different mobs but yet we’re still all connected.

The 4 circles are hugely significant as they mark both the Traditional Lore and Western Law systems & the challenge of navigating both today. The shapes placed around these circles pay respect to both knowledge holders of our Traditional Lore (Elders) and the contemporary Western Law (Lawyers).
The Boomerangs represent strength and connectedness through cultural practice and the punishment side of both Lore and Law.  It’s a reminder that some choices or decisions can see us become stuck or lost forever in the Western Law system, however our Traditional ways/culture can “bring us back”,  just like the returning Boomerang.
