Damien Barnes – Special Counsel

Damien Barnes is a Bidjara Aboriginal man from Carnarvon Gorge and Woorabinda in Central Queensland.

He has broad legal, commercial and dispute resolution experience in; construction, PPPs, mining, rail, energy, resources, environment, planning, local government, property, cultural heritage, land claims and native title.

Damien also has five (5) years civil engineering experience with the NSW Department of Commerce and Bankstown City Council. His civil engineering experience includes; surveying, design, construction and approvals.
