Her in-house background coupled with her extensive law firm experience gives Georgia unrivalled insight into the client perspective on engaging an external legal services provider and the type of legal support that is vital for companies.
Georgia holds a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University, Queensland. She is admitted to practice in the Queensland Supreme Court since 2005 and is a member of the Queensland Law Society. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree in addition to a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Outside of work, Georgia enjoys keeping fit by attending every circuit and spin class she possibly can, as well as dining out and travelling to sample the various hotels the world has to offer (well, when travel was a thing).
Georgia Arya is a Director in our Hotels team bringing over 16 years of experience acting on major projects and transactions in Australia, the Middle East, East Africa, Asia, Europe, United Kingdom and America. Her experience spans various sectors liaising with numerous company boards, shareholders and government entities.
Her previous tenure as a Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel saw Georgia responsible for the legal affairs of a group of companies overseeing major projects and other business entities held in respective portfolios.
